Partner Driven Events

A Competency Building Event can be initiated by a Partner by sending an official letter with the description of a proposed event.
For example tue US Bio Instustry Initative (BII) funded a long-term training event entitled Development and Launch of GLP Preclinical Trial Competency-Building Program”. This event is carried out by the Center of Modern Medical Technology (TEMPO).
Under the agreement, TEMPO developed specific curricula, selected lecturers and instructors, developed and prepared training materials, up-graded needed training equipment and performed other activities related to the corresponding training. Upon the successful completion of the training under the authority of the Moscow Medical Academy, the trainees receive appropriate Russian State diplomas in accordance with established Russia legislation.
Initially, the agreement was concluded for one year and up to 100 TEMPO-specialists were selected. However, the interest was so great that the Partner decided to extend the agreement with additional funding that would permit training another 35 specialists.
Additionally, three specialists from “Nizhpharm”, a non-TEMPO member, were trained on a fee-for-services basis and TEMPO has other training requests from other organizations. This proves the importance of the topic and high level of teaching that was also pointed out by all trainees and collaborators, namely the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) representatives, who visited the first session of the training.
